Kyle Ferguson, PhD, will be the first psychologist at the clinic since 1998.

He will work with behavioral scientist Richard Brandt-Kruetz, LICSW, to integrate more behavioral science into the residency program and create an integrative medicine option for patients in the patient centered medical home.

Brandt-Kruetz and Ferguson will be available for patients at St. Peter Family Medicine during certain times of the day as therapists, and at other times working side-by-side with the primary care providers combining medical care and behavioral health.

“It is a really exciting time for primary care as we redefine the patient centered healthcare team,” said Dr. Devin Sawyer, program director “In so many respects behavioral health is primary care.”
